Meet Caroline Adams, Barn Manager

Barn Manager/Trainer

Caroline Adams, Barn Manager

Caroline’s passion for horses began in childhood. She started riding at five and discovered dressage at six, later spending winters training in Wellington, Florida, and studying under mentors Jodie Kelly and JJ Tate.

Today, as Barn Manager, Caroline creates an environment where horses receive exceptional care and people feel welcomed and supported — from caring for the horses to helping riders reach their goals and keeping the barn running smoothly.

My passion for horses began with my father. While we didn’t own horses, he always made a point to drive by the only place in our small Louisiana town that had them. Watching those horses from the truck window sparked a dream that quickly became my own. Growing up in a town where horses—and especially dressage—were hard to find, I was incredibly fortunate to have two amazing, supportive parents who encouraged me every step of the way and always found a way to help me pursue my passion.

I started riding at five years old and discovered dressage at just six when I was given my first pony, Antone. At the time, dressage wasn’t a discipline many children my age were involved in, but I fell in love with the precision, partnership, and beauty of the sport from the very beginning.

At thirteen, I welcomed my horse, Uniek, into my life. Together we progressed from Training Level through Intermediate I and were preparing for Grand Prix before he unfortunately suffered a career-ending injury. Although our competitive journey ended sooner than we had hoped, the lessons he taught me continue to shape the rider and horsewoman I am today.

From 2008 through 2013, I spent my winters in Wellington, Florida, training six days a week while completing my education remotely. Every school holiday, vacation, and any time I had away from school was spent traveling to train with my mentors, Jodie Kelly and JJ Tate, or attending clinics and horse shows. Those experiences gave me the opportunity to travel, learn from incredible horsemen and women, and develop a deep appreciation for every aspect of horsemanship, training, and horse care.

Today, I am proud to serve as Barn Manager. I love creating an environment where horses receive exceptional care and people feel welcomed and supported. Whether I’m caring for the horses, helping riders reach their goals, or keeping the barn running smoothly, I feel incredibly fortunate to spend every day doing what I love.

Horses have taught me patience, resilience, and humility, and I look forward to sharing that passion with everyone who walks through our barn doors.

For more than 30 years, Kaitlynn Adams(formly Mosing) has built her life around learning from horses; not only as a rider, but as a caretaker, student, competitor, and partner.

Her journey began where many horse lovers in this area first discovered their passion: spending countless hours at Tally-Ho Stables. There, Mrs. Bebe Brown fostered Kaitlynn’s love for horses and helped instill the foundational principles of good horsemanship that every young rider deserves to learn. Those formative years taught Kaitlynn that true horsemanship is built through observation, patience, care, and a lifelong willingness to continue learning.

Kaitlynn’s education has taken place across multiple disciplines, including Pony Club, hunter/jumpers, eventing, and dressage. She spent eight years training with Will Faudree, including two years as a working student, gaining firsthand experience in the daily management, care, and development of sport horses. During this time, she developed her own competitive career in eventing, earning FEI experience and competing multiple horses through the Preliminary level while continuing to learn from experienced professionals throughout the sport.

As her riding developed, Kaitlynn transitioned her focus toward dressage, drawn to the discipline’s emphasis on balance, communication, and developing a true partnership between horse and rider. She continued her education through focused dressage training, developing horses through the upper levels of the discipline, including training through Grand Prix and competing through Intermediate II.

Throughout her career, Kaitlynn has worked with horses in many stages of life; from developing young horses and supporting competition partners to caring for horses through injury, rehabilitation, and retirement. These experiences have reinforced her belief that every horse is an individual and that successful training begins with understanding the horse in front of you.

Kaitlynn believes that horsemanship is a lifelong journey and that the best horsemen and women never stop learning. Through continued education, learning from experienced professionals, and listening to the horses themselves, she strives to remain curious, open-minded, and always willing to grow.

Lessons with Kaitlynn are about more than time spent in the saddle. They are about understanding the whole horse; from daily care and grooming to fitness, training, and learning how to listen to what your horse is telling you.

Whether your goals are competitive or simply to become a better partner for your horse, Kaitlynn believes that the strongest partnerships are built through communication, trust, understanding, and teamwork. Her goal is to help riders develop not only better skills, but a deeper connection with their horse.
